BAC Swimming 2008/2009 sEASON

Is your swimmer looking for a way to continue with the fun of a swim team? Have them try the Bulldog Aquatic Club (BAC). Bulldog swimming is the next level of competition for those participating in summer swim leagues or for kids who just want to fully explore their swimming potential.

BAC is a USA registered team who was recently awarded a Gold Medal Status (one of 16 in the nation) honoring its commitment to swimming excellence.

BAC offers a number of programs for swimmers of all levels.

BAC Swimming School is for swimmers 5-8 who can swim 1 length of front crawl and 1 length of backstroke.   The swimming school will be on Monday and Friday at Northville High School.

The Swimming School will continue teaching front crawl and backstroke, and will introduce breast stroke, butterfly, flip turns, etc.  Contact BACMembership@bulldogaquaticclub.com to find out when the next session starts.

Advanced Puppy is our advanced beginning program for swimmers who have been instructed on all 4 strokes but continue to develop stroke technique and endurance. Swimmers practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hillside Middle School during the fall and winter and at Northville High School in the spring and summer.

Jr. Dog is our intermediate program where swimmers continue to learn the importance of good technique while building endurance. Swimmers practice 3 times/week at Hillside Middle School during the fall and winter and at Northville High School in the spring and summer.

Bulldog/Sr. Bulldog is our advanced program for swimmers 13 & over. Swimmers train 10-12 hours/week.  Practice is held at the Livonia Community Recreation Center over the winter and at Northville High School in the fall, spring, and summer.

Your swimmer "try BAC" the first week of the month.  Call or email to let us know you will be attending and to get any change of practice information.  You MUST make a free reservation for your swimmer BEFORE coming to the pool.
